Flower Valley, a lush, beautifully-treed neighborhood nestled on the edge of Rockville, is a community of spacious family homes on large lots just minutes from the ICC, Downtown Rockville, and a short drive to Bethesda and Washington DC. It’s a place that I have proudly called home for the last 8 years!
History and Location
Built in the early 1970’s, Flower Valley lives up to its name. The gorgeous tree-lined streets, luscious green lawns, and neighborhood parks lend themselves to spending time outdoors, playing with the kids, and talking to neighbors over the back fence. The homes, priced from $550,000 for a split level to $700,000+ for a center hall colonial, are spacious: they feature 4 to 5 bedrooms, eat-in kitchens, full basements, generous yards and 2 car garages.
Amenities
Along with Flower Valley Park, which has basketball courts, soccer lawns, and a gazebo for barbecues, the Flower Valley Pool and Tennis Club is the center of summer activity for the entire neighborhood! The large pool hosts swim meets, pool parties and barbecues throughout the summer, and it serves as a lovely place to relax and cool off on those hot summer days. The tennis courts are always busy with children's tennis lessons and adult tournaments.
