For the 2nd Time, Apex Home Loans Ranks on Inc. 5000 List

Rockville, MD – August 24, 2017 – Apex Home Loans, Inc. has been named one of America’s fastest-growing companies by Inc. magazine for the second time, again appearing on the Inc. 5000 list.

The 36^th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, represents a unique look at the most successful independent small and mid-size businesses in America’s economy. Apex Home Loans, which began as a two-person start-up in 1998, is now home to over 100 employees, lending in eight states, and contributing thousands of community service hours each year.

“Making the Inc. 5000 list for a second time is truly an honor,” Apex President Eric Gates said. “Our goal is to drive homeownership and positive change in our communities, and the fact that we’ve been able to grow while doing so is a testament to our values, approach, and great team.”

Apex Home Loans’ ranking places it at No. 3,178, with a total three-year sales growth of 103% since 2013. In that same timeframe, the number of Apex employees has doubled, and the company has added branches in Howard County, Maryland; Ocean City, Maryland; and Loudoun County, Virginia.

The recognition arrives on the heels of local and national outlets taking notice of Apex for its culture, workplace perks, and community-driven approach. Apex was recently selected as one of Washington Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and one of Washingtonian’s 50 Great Places to Work, to name a few of the awards the company received this year.
