Caleb began his career as a practicing accountant for Deloitte and later Dixon-Hughes before entering mortgage banking in 2006. Mortgage banking and helping clients make informed decisions on their mortgage is not only Caleb’s profession, but his passion.

Melissa Fowler

Melissa is the Approval Partner for Caleb LeGrand at Apex Home Loans. She works with our clients on the front end and completes all of the initial reviews of applications. Melissa has 13 years of Mortgage and Banking experience. She is originally from Washington State and relocated to Wilmington, NC, where she started her career.
After being promoted, Melissa moved to Greenville, SC, where she met her husband, started a family and is now a proud mother of two boys. Melissa says, “I believe that a home is where the heart is and it’s so exciting that I get to be a part of one of the first steps in helping so many people make a home.”

Melissa is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. She joined the team in 2017, bringing 15 plus years of Mortgage and Banking experience. Originally from Anderson, SC, she moved to Greenville after graduating and met her husband, Jason. They now live in downtown Greer with their two children, Graham and Sophie. Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Being a huge sci-fi fan, she also spends time forcing her family to watch cheesy sci-fi films…
Niki Young
Senior Processor
Niki is a Greenville, SC, native and has been in banking since 1995. Prior to coming to the CL Team, she worked locally as a personal and small business banker. In her free time, Niki enjoys riding her bike on the Swamp Rabbit Trail as well as spending time with friends, family and her little dog, Rudy. One of her favorite quotes is, “Life is precious, so use your days wisely”.
Leonard Paredi
Set Up Processor
Lenny is one of the set up processors for Caleb LeGrand at Apex Home Loans. Lenny started in the mortgage industry almost a decade ago at Teachers’ Federal Credit Union based on Long Island, NY. His years of service at TFCU helped him to develop the necessary skills to uncover the needs of his clients and executing a plan that meet those needs.
When not working, Lenny and his wife enjoy traveling, especially cruising. There is nothing better to recharge your batteries than some relaxing time at sea. Lenny says, “On any given weekend, you can find my wife and I strolling along Main St. Downtown enjoying the many eateries and shops.”
Kelly Patton
Senior Processor
Kelly is a graduate of the California State University of PA with a degree in Secondary Education, English. She has been in mortgage lending since 1992. As a former underwriter, her knowledge of loan guidelines and excellent communication skills are an asset in keeping all parties updated and help present loans in a manner that facilitates speed and accuracy for a quick loan approval. Kelly’s favorite quote is “No matter where you go, there you are.”
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys running, reading, spending time with her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Alex and Sydney. She is an avid fan of collegiate and professional tennis and all Pittsburgh professional sports teams.
Amanda Hoover
Set Up Processor
Amanda is a Graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Marketing. She brings a wealth of experience by serving over 10 years in the banking industry. Amanda says, “Buying a home is one of the most exciting experiences that you will ever have and I am so happy that I get to be a part of the process.”
Jennifer Johnson
Closing Coordinator
Jennifer is a South Carolina native, born and raised in the Upstate. She is a graduate of Clemson University and a proud supporter of the Clemson Tigers. Jennifer comes from a financial services background where she worked for nearly 10 years before joining the Caleb LeGrand team at Apex as the Closing Coordinator.
When she’s not assisting clients with the mortgage process, Jennifer and her husband Scott enjoy traveling throughout the United States and abroad. She is passionate about exploring different places, sampling unique cuisines and meeting new people. Jennifer constantly reminds herself that, “Nothing is worth it if you aren’t happy” and strives to “Always be the kind of person that you would want to meet”.
Sherry Rae
Administrative Assistant
Sherry joined the team as the administrative assistant in 2017. She has several years’ experience in the mortgage and insurance industry.
Sherry has called Greenville “home” since moving to the area with her family in 2017. She is a native of Georgia and loves cheering on her favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs! She enjoys playing soccer and basketball with her two children, Andrew and Austin. When not on the go with sports and Scouts, you can find Sherry relaxing on her front porch swing chatting with her husband and getting to know her neighbors.
Morgan Hoover
Marketing Manager
Morgan joined the Caleb LeGrand team as the newest addition to the team in 2019. Previously coming from a background in graphic design, Morgan is the Marketing Manager for the Caleb LeGrand Team at Apex Home Loans. Prior to joining the CL Team, Morgan graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science in Graphic Communications.
Morgan has a passion for adventure and the outdoors. In her spare time, you can find her kayaking on Lake Jocassee or taking her dog on hiking trips throughout the Carolinas.
Sydney Patton

Sydney is a recent graduate of Presbyterian College with a Bachelors of Science in Economics. Previously working in the automotive lending industry, Sydney joined The CL Team as a loan coordinator in late 2019.
As a retired college tennis player, Sydney now spends her time running, eating ice cream and watching college football as a Clemson Tiger fan with her dog, Conrad. Sydney truly lives her life in model of the quote by Oscar Wilde, “Without order, nothing exists. Without chaos, nothing evolves."
Trent Gamble

Trent is a graduate of Clemson University with degrees in both Speech/Communications and History. He began his career in the Retirement and Durable Medical Equipment Industry where he has 22 years of experience from sales to management. His priority is always putting the customer first. A native of Anderson, Trent now lives in Simpsonville with his wife, Michelle, and two children, Aidan and Taylor.
