Upgrade Movie Night at Rockville's Movies in the Parks

Upgrade Movie Night at Rockvilles Movies in the Parks

Have the kids been cooped up in the house all day? Did you have a hard day at work? Lift family spirits at the City of Rockville’s Movies in the Parks sponsored by Apex Home Loans! August 3rd, 10th and 17th, Apex will be sponsoring a classic, family-friendly movie at three neighborhood parks throughout the city. Grab your favorite lounging chair or blanket, pack some food and beverages, and join us for one of these three movies that begin at dusk (around 8 p.m.)!

Inside Out

Aug. 3. Montrose Park, 451 Congressional Ln., Rockville.
When her parents move, 11-year old Riley is faced with adapting to her new home in San Francisco. The movie follows the trials of her emotions in cartoon-form (led by Amy Poehler), and is guaranteed to make you feel every emotion possible. Cuddle up with your loved ones in the lawn and get ready for an emotional roller-coaster.

Finding Nemo

Aug 10. Glenview Mansion, Front Lawn, 603 Edmonston Dr., Rockville.
We all know Finding Nemo: the classic tale of a little fish lost in a big ocean. Watch as the adventure unfolds while relaxing in a beautiful and historic setting. Plus, we have a little secret at the Apex booth: we enjoy bubbles just as much as Nemo’s friend, Bubbles. Stop by to pick up a bottle of bubbles for your little one for free!

The Sandlot

Aug. 17. Fallsgrove Park, 700 Fallsgrove Dr., Rockville.
A classic loved by all ages in the 90’s, The Sandlot makes us reminisce and see the real value of friendship as taught by a young baseball team. The movie will be showing in Woodly Gardens Park, where you have maybe played a few games of catch yourself!

So come on out and don’t be shy! When you aren’t wrapped up in the excitement of the movies, stop by the Apex Home Loans tent. We will have goodies for the kids to keep them entertained, and we’ll do our part in keeping you and your family hydrated in this summer heat with complimentary water.
