David joined the Apex team in early 2004 after spending two years with a large National lender where he consistently ranked among the top 10% of Loan Officers and was recognized as a member of the President's Club. As a Senior Mortgage Banker with Apex, David continues to rank among the company's top producers, but more important are his customer service numbers generated through positive feedback from his borrowers. This is a result of David's simple and thorough way of explaining mortgage options to first time home buyers. In fact, David's Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) designation, which speaks to his understanding of the tax, estate planning, and financial implications of mortgage financing, provides him the credentials to assist the most seasoned borrowers.

David is also an active real estate investor, which gives an additional and unique perspective on the considerations of each mortgage borrower and the issues associated with real estate ownership.

Prior to his 9 years in the mortgage industry, David spent 8 years as a finance coordinator for a Pittsburgh renovation company, providing him with an excellent base of knowledge to speak intelligently about renovation and home improvement issues. David graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Business Administration.

David is an active member of the National & Maryland Association of Mortgage Professionals and is an active member of the Glover Park Citizens Association.
